Abstract: One of the most prevalent burn sequelae is postburn contracture (PBC).Contractures involving the neck lead to severe deformities as well as functional debilitation like loss of neck movements and lip seals.Moreover, cosmetic disfigurement has social implications which affect the daily life of the patient.It is a surgical challenge to release the contracture and reconstruct the area by giving a good cosmetic outcome as well as restoring the functions.
