Abstract: The analysis of the relationship between the accumulated values of the specific weight of regions in the total population and the volume of the country's gross domestic product made it possible to obtain an assessment of the uneven distribution of the GRP per capita indicator across the regions of the Russian Federation. The article presents intermediate and final results of the calculations. The Lorenz and Gini coefficients were used as indicators of regional differentiation. For the analyzed period, a relationship was found between the rates of economic growth and the level of inequality of regions.
