Abstract: Literature on Emergency Services especially Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Africa is very scanty. Authors usually write about public health and mention the contribution of EMS in few paragraphs. It is therefore plausible for this author to conduct research on Emergency Services in Sub-Sahara Africa: Challenges and Opportunities. The research raises issues that Emergency Services Practitioners should develop interest in it. The author mentioned 5 thematic areas as: infrastructure limitation such as improvement of roads, communication system for emergency services practitioners and power supply.
