Russian scientists on the role and modern significance of Immanuel Kant's concept of a moral and legal state (on the 300th anniversary of his birth)

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: In this article the authors justify the statement that the outstanding philosopher Immanuel Kant not only rightly considered the author of the doctrine on the rightness of the state with a republican form of government, but is the creator of the concept of the moral-legal state, in which, along with the traditionally recognized features, the requirements of a moral categorical imperative must be respected, which plays a key role in the scientific discourse of the concept mentioned above and is still relevant.
