Influence of cultural factors on the formation of students' social intelligence

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to identify the nature and degree of influence of cultural factors on the formation of social intelligence of future specialists. The norms and values accepted in the social environment were considered as cultural factors. The content of students' social intelligence, its structural components, as well as the degree of influence of cultural factors on their formation were determined. For this purpose, the article compares the content of social intelligence of students of higher educational institutions with the characteristics related to the qualities of the "messianic personality". This is spiritual and innovative consciousness, personal traits of the original and modern human type, a creative approach to activity, etc. It has been determined that the gender factor also influences students' abilities for logical thinking, the formation of independent decision-making skills and the level of emotional intelligence. Self-assessment of the level of social intelligence in students is quite high.
