Abstract: Digitalization of the economy is one of the main drivers of economic growth in the 21st century. For Africa, a continent with huge potential and a growing population, digitalization opens up new opportunities for development. However, significant investment and international cooperation are needed for a successful transition to a digital economy. The purpose of this article is to explore and analyze the impact of international cooperation and investment on the digitalization of the African economy, as well as to identify key barriers and offer recommendations for further sustainable development of the continent
