Authors: Stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) for canine intracranial meningiomas has potential benefits compared to fractionated radiation therapy. However, when SRT is administered in 3 or fewer fractions, up to 37% may experience early-delayed neurotoxicity. This causes morbidity and potentially mortality. The goal of the study was to assess the short-term toxicity of a novel 6 Gy × 5, daily, SRT treatment regime.
