Determination of critical energy release rate at the EVA/Si cell interface of a flexible silicon solar cell
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: In this research, we described the method on how to determine the critical energy release rate at the EVA/Si cell interface of a flexible silicon solar cell, which can be used for other interfaces of a solar cell. Outline of procedure : a) Run Peeling test at the EVA/Si cell interface of the solar cell sample b) Run tensile test of the upper layer of the solar cell sample c) Run IC Peel software: Inputs: peeling force between EVA and Si cell layer, Young’s modulus (E), Yield stress (σy), and Yield strain (εy) of the upper layer, Output: critical energy release rate at the EVA/Si cell interface
