Percutaneous retrieval of symptomatic bone cement embolus from the pulmonary artery

Abstract: Bone cement pulmonary embolism (CPE) is not a rare complication. Most cases are asymptomatic and detected incidentally. In this study, we reported a female patient who was suffering from hemoptysis . To address this condition, our clinical group performed a percutaneous procedure to successfully retrieve the cement embolism on the right pulmonary artery .
