Abstract: Introduction: The Bauer, EQ-5D-5L, and VAS questionnaires are widely used tools for evaluating patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in the perioperative setting. Although the most recent Perioperative Quality Improvement Project report continually reflects high patient satisfaction rates,1 there is currently limited use of these tools for gathering PROMs data and there remains a notable absence of a schematic, validated system for gathering PROMs pertaining to the perioperative anaesthesia experience.
