Abstract: For early glottic cancer involving the anterior commissure, choosing staged surgery or one-stage surgery combined with the placement of a silicone anterior commissure laryngeal stent were better than simple laser tumor excision in terms of secondary vocal cord adhesion and voice function preservation.
