Abstract: A variety of respiratory disorders have been reported in relation to Parkinson’s disease (PD). Long-term levodopa treatment often leads to motor fluctuations and dyskinesia, and some respiratory disorders may also occur as a result of levodopa therapy. Here, we present the case of an 80-year-old man with PD who experienced episodes of dyspnea attributed to levodopa-induced dyskinesia, which was effectively managed with deep brain stimulation.
