Abstract: We exhibit infinitely many pairs of non-isomorphic finitely presented, residually finite groups \Delta and \Gamma with \Delta having Property FA, \Gamma having a non-trivial action on a tree, and \Delta and \Gamma having isomorphic profinite completions.
