Statistical data on the town of Solvychegodsk in the XIX century (according to geographical information)

Abstract: The paper provides statistical (historical and geographical) information about the typical northern trading town of Solvychegodsk, founded on the site of old salt mines. The information relates to the life of the town in the XIX century. The following quantitative parameters are considered: population, industries, buildings, etc. Statistical data is provided based on the use of Geographical Lexicons and Dictionaries: Polunin, Maksimovich, Shchekatov, Semenov and statistical descriptions of Russian towns.
