Historical Aspects of the Development of Virgin and Fallow Lands in Central Siberia

Abstract: This paper examines the features of the development of agriculture in Central Siberia in the XVII-XIX centuries. The main indicators of agriculture, which show the development of arable farming, are analyzed. The basic composition of the soil has been determined. A comparative analysis of grain production in the counties of Central Siberia has been carried out. Cultivated cereal crops have been identified.
