Abstract: When the cultural analyst tries to understand the meaning of artifacts, their continuous movements in different contexts, he or she is exposed to a force field of strong subjects, objects and predicates. Examples of artifacts and predicates discussed here are: a cigarette case, a chisel, a tin can, a bunker and handshaking.
