Abstract: The lipoma is the most common soft tissue tumor, characterized by a benign proliferation of adipocytes. The intramuscular lipoma is an uncommon variant that accounts for less than 1% of all lipomas and can occur in any anatomical site, typically affecting individuals between the ages of 40 and 70 years. We report the case of a 60-year-old female patient presenting with a lipoma of the psoas muscle. We discuss the epidemiological aspects of psoas lipomas as well as the specificities related to diagnosis and therapeutic management.
