Abstract: In the general population of China, the number of older patients with follicular lymphoma (FL) will continue to increase with age. The treatment of elderly patients with FL is based on individual principles, which focuses on the improvement of tumor-related symptoms and quality of life. To improve the diagnosis and treatment of elderly patients with FL in China, several organizations (i.e., Hematology Oncology Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, etc.) have gathered relevant experts to formulate this consensus.
