Abstract: Background:The condition known as prediabetes exists before diabetes mellitus is identified. The alarmingly high incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is putting a strain on global health care systems.Adults with prediabetes frequently have blood sugar levels that are higher than usual but do not exhibit any of the symptoms or indicators of diabetes.Globally, prediabetes is becoming more common, and by 2030, over 470 million individuals are expected to have prediabetes. As a result, there is a growing interest worldwide in finding safe and efficient treatments to stop the development of prediabetes into diabetes. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Madhumehahari Kashaya (MK) in the management of Prediabetes.Materials and method: Forty individuals with a HbA1c of 5.7% to 6.4% who were diagnosed with prediabetes and met all inclusion and exclusion criteria were enlisted. For ninety days, the patients were given the Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation Madhumehahari Kashaya 35ml twice a day after meals with lukewarm water as treatment.Assessments of the lipid profile (TC, LDL, HDL, and Triglycerides) and FBS, PPBS, HbA1C, and 90 days after enrollment were conducted. The student's 't' test was used to evaluate the results of the statistical study. Results: Significant results (p<0.05) were observed in all the assessed parameters at various time points. Conclusion: Madhumehahari Kashaya showed good results in the current study.Several randomised clinical studies in this area are required to produce evidence-based findings.
