Abstract: This study aims to clarify the issues related to baseball spectating by classifying spectators based on their spectating purpose and comparing their game-day behaviors. The results showed that spectators could be categorized into four groups, with each group exhibiting different characteristics in terms of their stadium dwell time and spectating needs, both before and after spectating. Additionally, they indicated that offering services that align with the lifestyles of various spectators, both inside and outside the stadium, can aid in the sustainable development of pastime spectating in professional baseball games.
