Abstract: Endometriosis is a common disease, affecting approximately 5-10% of reproductively aged women. Symptoms, such as painful periods, negatively impact an individual's quality of life; however, these symptoms are often normalized, leading to delays in diagnosis and treatment, and worsening of the disease. In this podcast, a reproductive endocrinologist (Dr Sanjay K Agarwal) and patient advocate (Tara Mangum) provide their perspectives on the diagnosis and management of endometriosis. They also discuss Relugolix combination therapy as a treatment option for patients with endometriosis.Podcast available for this article.
