Abstract: This research aims to explore the cultural adaptation and integration of Indonesian peacekeeping personnel in Lebanon in the framework of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participatory observation as the main method of data collection. The results show that despite the challenges in cultural adaptation, Indonesian peacekeepers are able to adapt through effective cultural adaptation strategies. In addition, interpersonal relationships with local communities as well as cooperation with multinational forces play an important role in their integration process. This research provides in-depth insights into the dynamics of cultural adaptation in the context of international peacekeeping operations and provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of future peacekeeping missions.
