The paper also describes the paths of development and the problems that the Dai Le language encounters in the contemporary world, as well as the ways to preserve and develop it. The findings of the study show that the Dai Le language is not only a component of the Dai ethnic culture but also a component of the Dai ethnic identity where its protection and inheritance are of great importance for the preservation of the Chinese ethnic cultural diversity.
