A simple method for secret-key generation between mobile users across networks

Abstract: An accumulative, adaptable and additive (AAA) method is proposed and analyzed for secret-key generation between two or more mobile users or nodes across networks. The AAA method exploits not only reliable and authenticated connections widely available to modern users, but also imperfect intercepts by eavesdropper (Eve) in dynamic networking environment. It is shown that the equivocation to Eve of any bit in the generated key equals to the probability that not all corresponding bits exchanged between the users are intercepted by Eve.
