Type: article
Abstract: The five-phase induction motor drive offers distinct benefits that enhance the motor's torque production capabilities. The proposed fuzzy logic controller is well suited for high-performance five-phase induction motor drives. This paper is discussed about a speed control strategy for a five-phase induction motor drive system using a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). This controller adjusts system parameters through a rule-based fuzzy logic system, mimicking human reasoning for process control. The speed control algorithm employs indirect vector control.
