Abstract: 環境問題の多くは社会的ジレンマの構造を持つ。本研究では，コミュニケーションの効果に着目し，オンライン上でのテキストによるコミュニケーションでも社会的ジレンマでの協力率を高める効果があるかを検討する。そのために本研究では，社会的ジレンマの構造を持つ，環境問題をシミュレートしたオンラインゲームを開発した。ゲームでは，3名が1グループとなり，排出されるごみのうち何kgを資源ごみとして処理するか（協力行動）を決定する。実験の結果，チャットを行った群ではチャット後に協力率が高まっており，コミュニケーションの効果が示された。また，チャット内で全員がすべてのごみを資源ごみとして処理することに合意したグループは，それ以外のグループよりも協力率が高まっていた。これらの結果より，オンラインでのチャットによるコミュニケーションでも，社会的ジレンマ状況での協力行動を促進する効果があることが示された。
