Abstract: Adhering to the talent cultivation orientation of "based on Hubei, serving the industry, and facing the whole country", the university cultivates advanced application talents to meet the development needs of modern automobile industry, introduces the development status of electronic information engineering specialty in the current automobile industry, including talent demand, technology application, specialty advantages and characteristics, and discusses the main measures and effects of deepening the comprehensive reform of specialty. The methods and strategies for building a first-class undergraduate major in electronic information engineering that meets the needs of the automotive industry have been proposed, covering aspects such as optimizing the curriculum system, innovating practical teaching, and building a faculty team. The aim is to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for cultivating high-quality electronic information engineering professionals who meet the development requirements of the automotive industry.
