Abstract: This paper presents the results of the Finite Element Analysis using SolidWorks simulation of the strengthening effect of the CFRP wraps applied to the bottom of concrete pillars bearing uniaxial compression forces. The benefits of using CFRP wrap have been emphasized by analyzing the resulting values of Displacement, Strain, and Factor of Safety.
