Abstract: In this paper, we present the case of a four-year-old boy with a penetrating transoral injury caused by a foreign object directed toward the foramen magnum. Head angiotomography revealed that the object's pathway was in close contact with the vertebral artery, without apparent involvement of the meninges. We discuss the clinical presentation, diagnostic approach, and treatment in this case.
