Terrorism as a threat to the national security of the Russian Federation: political and legal support for countering

Abstract: The article considers the means of combating terrorism: the expansion of cooperation with other states to counter terrorist acts, as well as the legislative activities of the state in the field of countering terrorism. In order to substantiate crimes that include the basics of terrorist activity, the legislation of the Russian Federation has been analyzed in the most detail. It is noted that a systematic approach is needed in the activities of public authorities aimed at developing and implementing comprehensive measures to effectively prevent terrorist crimes.
