Abstract: At this moment inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity are widespread in the world among people of different ages. Metronidazole is widely used as an effective drug for their treatment. This review is aimed at analyzing modern literature sources that tell about the role of metronidazole in the treatment of inflammatory disorder of oral cavity.
