Abstract: The transmission and reflection spectra of multidomain photonic crystal structures formed by a sequential combination of Bragg reflectors and amplifying dielectric layers are studied. Conditions for the formation of spectral combs with amplified transmission in the photonic bandgap region are obtained. The possibility of selective amplification of spectral lines of defect modes is demonstrated.
