Selecting an Approximation Function to Determine the Threshold Current Based on the Results of Measurements of the P-i Characteristic of a Led

Abstract: The accuracy of approximation of P-I characteristics of LEDs by different functions at different noise levels of the photodetector was studied. It was shown that the smallest error in determining the threshold current is achieved when approximating the P-I characteristic by a function obtained on the basis of the ABC model of charge carrier recombination in a heterostructure.
