Abstract: This literature review examines data characterizing the clinical significance of the most informative laboratory markers, which make it possible not only to promptly identify the pathology of the cardiovascular system, but also to assess the risk of adverse outcomes of coronavirus infection. The most studied markers are hsTnI, NT-proBNP, D-dimer. Promising laboratory markers that require comprehensive study include osteopontin, stimulating growth factor ST2, Gal-3, copeptin, endothelin-1. With all the variety of pathological conditions that are accompanied by an increase in the concentrations of these markers, they can be considered as indicators that undoubtedly deserve close attention when assessing patients with COVID-19.
