Abstract: The effect of bisphenol A on the cells of the apical meristem of Allium cepa L. was investigated. The toxic impact of the studied substance on the apical root meristems of onion was demonstrated through growth inhibition, changes in the mitotic index, and disturbances in the cell division process.
