Abstract: Fiber reinforced cement-based materials are used to add various kinds of fibers to ordinary cement-based materials to improve their tensile strength, compressive strength, shear strength, flexural strength, flexural strength and impact resistance. There are many kinds of fiber, including steel fiber, carbon fiber, glass fiber, polypropylene fiber and basalt fiber, etc. The type, shape, content and length-diameter ratio of fiber will affect the performance of cement-based materials. In this paper, the research status of steel fiber, polypropylene fiber and basalt fiber on cement-based materials is reviewed, and the application of fiber reinforced cement-based materials is prospected.
