Abstract: Studying food waste is crucial to achieving sustainability goals and ensuring global food security. A thorough understanding of food waste issues and the development of effective solutions requires detailed research and analysis. Through food wastage studies, effective strategies and policies can be developed to help reduce this major problem and support a more equitable and sustainable food system. Studying the factors causing food waste and its social, economic, environmental and nutritional implications helps stakeholders to better understanding this global issue and to identify solutions for its reduction.
