Abstract: The possibility of producing positron beams using an electron recycler, the conceptual design of which is being developed at KIPT, is considered. The positron flux after the tantalum converter was estimated. The efficiency of the process of injection and acceleration of positrons to 181 and 356 MeV for high-energy physics experiments was calculated. The characteristics of the beam for use in structural studies of solid state physics are considered.
