Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The Society for Vascular Surgery elected an international, multi-disciplinary panel of experts to review the literature and provide evidence-based suggestions for coordinated peri-operative care for patients undergoing major limb amputation for limbs with non-reconstructable chronic limb-threatening ischemia. Structured around the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS®) core elements, 33 suggestions were made and organized into preadmission, preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative sections.
