Abstract: This is a correction to the paper ‘Fine structure of the age–chromospheric activity relation in solar-type stars: II. H|$\alpha$| line’, published in MNRAS, Volume 532, Issue 1, July 2024, Pages 563–576, 10.1093/mnras/stae1532. The only correction is a minor typographical error in equation (6), where the last term should be positive (|$+\,3.676 \times 10^6$|) instead of negative (|$-\,3.676 \times 10^6$|). This adjustment is essential, as the incorrect sign would result in physically implausible negative chromospheric fluxes. This was purely a transcription mistake and does not affect any of the results, analysis, or conclusions presented in the paper. Corrected equation:
