Abstract: Education is experiencing a major shift due to rapid technological advancements and the growing access to information. The industrial era has shaped society to adapt to fast-paced changes. Globalization has sparked new innovations, opportunities, and challenges, particularly in the realm of technology. As a result, technology plays a crucial role in transmitting information through text, images, and sound. Students are now active participants in their learning, eager to explore and uncover new knowledge. How can educators adapt to this shift and offer students impactful and relevant learning opportunities? This is the key challenge facing teachers in the 21st century, particularly in maritime education and training (MET).
