Virtual War Medicine - A Key Element of Modern Warfare

Abstract: The article deals with the impact of wars on the evolution of war medicine. The methodology includes an analysis of current approaches to the integration of new technologies, processes, and artificial intelligence in the treatment of wounded soldier s. In particular, the findings point to the lack of preparedness of medical information systems for intense conflict and highlight t he need for rapid change in war medicine processes. Current studies point to the need for a multidisciplinary approach to its moder nization, including its virtualization and legislative adaptation.
