Abstract: This comment responds to the work by Blumberga (2024) by considering further the potential that System Dynamics modelling—SD—has for dealing with stakeholders holding a range of worldviews. It does so by exploring the methodological assumptions of SD, emphasising the field's aspiration to be used in participative mode, commenting on contemporary examples of division, and reiterating the importance of supporting accommodation amongst those holding very different Weltanschauungen.
