K27 as a symmetry of closed bosonic strings and branes

Abstract: In this paper, we show that the dynamics encoded in the nonlinear realization of the semi-direct product of the very extended algebra [Formula: see text] with its vector representation contains the low-energy effective action of the closed bosonic string.
