Rainwater harvesting: Analysis of technical feasibility for water supply through rainwater harvesting
Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This ongoing case study will evaluate the technical feasibility of using non-potable water for activities that do not require potable water, such as irrigation and hydrosanitary basins. Using information on the availability of rainwater and the demand required by the region evaluated, data collected through the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET), we obtained local rainfall indices. Thus, this work seeks to analyze the potential for supplying rainwater to the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo – São Paulo Campus.
