Abstract: Obligation to report occupational diseases in the case of cross-border activities of employees in Germany and Austria Cross-border work brings new challenges – including the obligation to report occupational diseases. What are the regulations governing physicians in Germany and Austria? What happens if suspected cases occur in different EU countries? European regulations govern cooperation between social insurance institutions and regulate the obligations of medical professionals in reporting occupational diseases.
