Evaluating Long and Short Duration Energy Storage in MISO in Deep Decarbonization Scenarios

Abstract: Presentation made at the 41st North American Conference held by USAEE/IAEE, November 3-6, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The presentation shows the results of evaluating long and short duration energy storage in MISO in deep decarbonization scenarios using the SCORE tool. The results show the costs of various energy storage technologies and compare short term storage to long term storage, along with other economic impacts.
