Abstract: The objective of this study is to present a group of solutions in order to protect the tourism environment in An Binh Islet, Vinh Long province, Vietnam. Although Vietnamese law has very complete regulations on environmental protection in the tourism sector. But for Vinh Long, it seems that this is still a very new issue. In the tourism planning of Vinh Long province for the period 2011 - 2020, the issue of tourism environment is only mentioned in a very general way: developing tourism products on the basis of exploiting the potential of existing tourism resources, promoting rapid economic growth, and at the same time focusing on environmental protection, biodiversity, protection, promotion and preservation of national traditions.
