Abstract: This study addresses the rulings of the Jordanian Supreme Court regarding the Legal characterization of the forgery of legal instruments, with comments on such rulings. This is aimed to address a main challenge of the difficulty to distinguish between the felony forgery and the misdemeanour forging false affidavits, when forgery occurs to a legal instrument, especially that such a case is not addressed under the provisions of the Jordanian penal code.
