Abstract: How does the municipal public administration communicate to citizens in Brazil? Based on this research question, this study overviews remote communicational services from the city halls in the 5,570 Brazilian municipalities following data from the Municipal Basic Information Survey in 2019 and other investigations about the use of internet in the country. Its establishes a dialogue between public communication and the municipality. This study localizes gaps the public administration must address in its interface with the population.
